Arborist Job at Southern Botanical, Dallas, TX

  • Southern Botanical
  • Dallas, TX

Job Description

Build Relationships. Win Business. Grow the Market.

At Southern Botanical, we don't wait for opportunities—we create them.

We're looking for an entrepreneurial Arborist who thrives on opening doors, building trusted partnerships, and turning opportunities into long-term client relationships and measurable business growth. If you're energized by meeting new people, uncovering needs, and competing to win business, this role gives you the freedom, resources, and support to build your own book of business while representing one of North Texas' premier landscape companies.

This isn't an account maintenance position. It's a growth role for someone who wants to make an impact and positively influence the future of Tree Care within Southern Botanical.

What You'll Own

  • Build and execute your strategy to develop new commercial tree care business throughout North Texas.
  • Prospect and cultivate partnerships with commercial property managers, luxury residential clients, and other key decision-makers.
  • Walk properties, identify opportunities, and provide expert recommendations that create long-term value for clients.
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals that solve client challenges and earn their trust.
  • Become the market expert by staying ahead of industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities.
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure an exceptional client experience from sale through execution.
  • Expand existing client partnerships through strategic upselling and additional services.
  • Consistently exceed sales goals while building a strong, sustainable pipeline.

What Makes You Successful

You naturally create opportunities where others don't see them.

You are driven to uncover new opportunities, compete for business, and consistently win new clients.

You don't need someone handing you leads—you'd rather go find them.

You enjoy generating business, setting ambitious goals, and celebrating wins.

You combine technical credibility with the confidence to influence decision-makers and close business.

What You Bring

  • ISA Certified Arborist (or ability to obtain certification within 6–12 months)
  • 3+ years of outside sales, business development, or territory development experience
  • Proven success generating new business and consistently exceeding sales goals
  • Strong networking, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
  • Arboriculture or tree care knowledge with the ability to translate technical expertise into client-focused solutions
  • Experience with Aspire is a plus
  • Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record

Why Southern Botanical?

This is an opportunity to build—not inherit—a thriving client portfolio.

You'll have the autonomy to develop your territory, the backing of an industry-leading operations team, and the ability to earn based on your performance.

We believe high performers deserve the opportunity to create exceptional careers.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary plus uncapped commissions
  • Company vehicle, phone, and laptop
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid Time Off
  • Ongoing ISA certification support and professional development
  • The opportunity to help shape one of the fastest-growing tree care businesses in North Texas

Southern Botanical is an equal-opportunity employer. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran, or disability status.

In compliance with federal law, anyone who is offered employment will be required to verify their identity and show proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
