This position sits in the Balance Sheet and Macro Research (BSMR) team, which reports to the Head of Rates and Research within Treasury/Chief Investment Office. This team is responsible for providing thought leadership on system balance sheet dynamics and macro topics for senior management in JPM Treasury. As a Senior Associate in the Balance Sheet and Macro Research (BSMR) team within Treasury/Chief Investment Office, you will be responsible for performing high quality analyses, communicating them clearly and concisely to senior management, and maintaining a research library. In this role you will work closely with senior management and the investment portfolio and can help inform balance sheet management decisions. To be successful, you must be curious about economics and the financial system, self-motivated, and an excellent communicator. Job ResponsibilitiesSynthesize third-party research and, where appropriate, original analysis to provide senior stakeholders with concise written and verbal reports on macro topics, for example: alternative data sources, fiscal sustainability, demographics, and the labor marketCurate a repository of high-value internal and external researchAnalyze data and maintain dashboards.
