job summary:
Our client is seeking a dynamic Design Project Manager in Richmond, VA to lead engineering project execution from award to completion. In this role, you will manage client relationships, drive project design schedules, oversee financial forecasts, and ensure seamless delivery across cross-functional teams. You will play a vital role in balancing design quality, risk management, and overall project profitability.

responsibilities:

• Lead overall project design execution, owner contracts, and client relationships to ensure alignment and satisfaction.

• Create, manage, and communicate project design schedules, staffing forecasts, and project execution plans.

• Oversee project financial controls, including fee estimates, budgets, revenue forecasts, and change order management.

• Identify, track, and escalate potential project risks to leadership while maintaining quality review cycles.

• Lead monthly project review meetings covering financial metrics, project status, and client health.
