Job Title: Receptionist

Location (city, state): Charlottesville, VA (100% On-Site)

Assignment Type: Contract (slight potential for conversion/extension)

Pay: $15-19/hour (depending on experience/alignment)

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; 40 hours/week; eligible for overtime

Job Description: Seeking a polished, professional, and personable Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for guests, clients, employees, and executives. This is not a high-volume front desk, but the role requires someone who is confident, welcoming, and comfortable interacting with C-Suite executives. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can hit the ground running with minimal training and is looking for a stable opportunity with potential for long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist guests, clients, and employees in a professional and friendly manner
• Answer and route incoming phone calls
• Maintain a polished and organized reception area
• Support light facilities tasks, including mail, conference rooms, and kitchen stocking
• Assist with general administrative and office support as needed
• Cross-train with other departments and provide support during downtime
• Help maintain a welcoming and professional office environment

Qualifications:

• 2–3+ years of administrative and/or receptionist experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Experience with phone routing systems
• Outgoing, personable, and professional
• Warm and welcoming presence
• Confident interacting with executives and guests
• Self-starter who can work independently and hit the ground running
• No degree required
• Ideally looking for someone actively available for immediate start!
